Books

I try to read one book a month, either fiction, biography, entrepreneurial or educational.

I have a myriad of web-design books, a whole shelf of self-help books, a lot of IT and web design reference books, the entire Clive Cussler collection, plus a small collection about both U2 and photography. With this page I will show you what I am currently reading.

See what’s on My Book Shelf!

This was one of the first of the Science-Fiction genré I saw at my local cinema when I was growing up. I’ve since seen it on television a few times over the last twenty years, yet nothing beats reading all the interesting little details that only a book does.

The book is enlightening on a lot of little facts that the movie doesn’t do any justice. Yet now that I’ve read this book (found in a Adelaide CBD book store for AUS$5.00), I’m going to buy the DVD ASAP!

Book Cover

I consider this my personal-bible.

When I found this on the shelf at BORDERS about 12 months ago (Nov,2006), I knew in an instant that it was going to good reading, highly inspirational and worth the time to read right through. Turns out I was not wrong! Although I have not yet taken that next step (yet!), this book has had a positive impact on the way I think about my own future.

When first I read this book I wrote a long article on what I learned which I regularly return to read! I also regularly respond to articles on the the Flying Solo website.

I have purchased one book via the internet, but mostly I read them online. Here are those that I continue to enjoy reading:
