Canon EOS 7D

Have you seen this very new Canon camera? It looks impressive! The Canon EOS 7D. With a 18megapixel CMOS sensor, up to 12800 ISO and a 19-focal-point sensor, this camera looks mighty impressive.

The only flaw? Well, just for the body alone you’ll pay around AU$2,500. With the kit lens (EF 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS), you’ll be forking out around AU$3,700.

Whilst the camera has impressive specifications, I’d prefer to have the Canon 50D or 5D. Maybe that is the point of the 7D … maybe it is intended as a mid-point between these two great cameras. I’ll let you be the judge. If you want to read more, check out DPReview \ Canon EOS 7D. I welcome your thoughts on this new camera.

While I am talking photography, somehow I stumbled upon this website tonight: Chris Gin, New Zealand photographer.

Not only is his work formidable, his website is just as impressive. I’ll let you check it out to see how great it is. I like it so much that I am doing a special photo shoot of my camera so I can also have it showing on the side of my web site!

After a quick search I discovered that Chris also displays his artwork upon Redbubble.com!
